Welcome to MathSnap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MathSnap browser extension, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Andrew Malone, operating as MathSnap ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Google OAuth: We use Google to authenticate your account. By logging in, you grant us permission to access the basic profile information provided by Google (such as your email address). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, abuse the API, or engage in fraudulent activity.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
Auto-Renewal: Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle.
Refund Policy: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or credits for partial months of service, downgraded plans, or unused time. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a valid subscription charge with your bank or credit card issuer, your MathSnap account will be immediately suspended. We reserve the right to present these Terms to your bank to dispute the chargeback.
MathSnap utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and optical character recognition (OCR) to process and solve mathematical problems.
Not a Substitute for Human Judgment: The Service is strictly intended as a supplemental study aid. AI models can hallucinate, misinterpret images, or produce mathematically incorrect solutions.
No Academic or Professional Guarantee: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output before using it. We are not responsible or liable for failed exams, lost academic standing, incorrect professional work, or any other consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated answers.
You agree not to:
